Anyone ever use essential oils on their horse(s)?

Ever heard of Terra shield by DoTerra?

I use doterra essential oils on myself. Love them! I haven't used the Terra shield on my horses, but have used lavender and peppermint for sweet itch and just over all calming. Seems to work. I even use lavender on my dogs to keep them calm and quiet. Peppermint is great for soreness too!

How do you apply the Lavendar for calming effects?

I ordered the Terra shield and put 3 drops down their back & rub in their ears and it's WONDERFUL! Hardly any bugs for 4 or 5 hours!
