Thank you for not having one of those awful huge tails that are bigger than the horses butt! It looks very natural and suited to your horses natural tail.

I bought a lighter tail because my poor pony has a sissy tail and I didn't want him to look ridiculous!

Farmpony!!! That tail looks great!!!!!! I really want to get a fake one for my guy but he's grulla...so he has the gray highlights at the top of his tail. Would you be able to see the fake tail if I attached a black (fakie?)

Tails attach at the end of the tail bone so I think it would be fine to get a black one. Do some research now that they are more popular, you might find one to match exactly to your horses tail.

My daughter's horse is wearing the heaviest extension tail. She is a perfectionist & says you cannot be competitive without one, her turnout is always impeccable. So I bought one about 1/2 that size as my horse has fairly full tail already, but since I am apparently not that competitive, I haven't used it yet.

With a "funky" colored tail you can still get a match. You can do the black and let the gray fall around it. My trainer has a four piece tail that has several colors in it. Funky colors can get really costly though... even up to 700ish...

PS - thanks on the tail comments!

It might be the heaviest extension that you can get but it looks great on your horse. I'm talking about the people that have a horse with a full and luscious tail already and then they put on the biggest one they can find because everyone else is doing it. No Joke I competed against a girl that had a gorgeous tail to begin with but insisted on using the biggest extension she could get. At the bottom the tail was wider than the horses hocks!! It looked hideous and even the judge made comments to her.

Custom Horse Tails, Equine show horse tail enhancers, custom horsehair tails, horse hair Custom Tails

Fully custom tails for a fabulous price. I'm currently not showing my horse any more than local right now, but when we start showing rated soon, that's where I'm getting mine from.

Get the tapered cut!!!!!!! It looks completely natural compared to the flat cut.

I am a cosmetologist and I know how to do fusion extensions I was wondering if there was a market in the horse world for them I am going to see if it works on one of my horses. Fusion are in until the it grows out (if done right) and it would be real hair so it could be treated as such.
