I'm DEFINITELY going to try Oxy Clean! I have a dapple grey gelding and he always looks dirty. His tail is yellow... Hoping this will help turn it white again!

I love mane and tail...both the shampoo and the conditioners; they are just good old faves!

I also use alot of the dog grooming products that I use as a dog groomer; The Coat Handler clarifying shampoo is an amazing product, as is their conditioner, which I use as a leave in. I also use Bark 2 Basics Demat with antistat as a detangler/leave in conditioner.

I love EQyss Micro-Tek. Very gentle, smells great, and doesn't dry my boys skin out. I've also used the Oster BlackPearl for Hoove.

Marinewife - Oxy worked awesome on my gray mares tail. I soaked it in a bucket while I washed her body, got pretty much all of the yellow tint out of it.

Canter Mane and Tail Conditioner

For manes and tails, Canter Mane & Tail is the best stuff ever!!

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

I use Quick Silver for my grey horses and Quick black for my black horses! And Cowboy magic for anything else! :)

Quick Silver is my favorite thing ever. My pinto has a little too much white, and Quick Silver mixed with Mane n' Tail and scrubbed all over her body makes her white as winter. I use pure Quick Silver on legs and stubborn stains.

Since this is a shampoo topic... I'm looking for something cheaper than Mane n' Tail for regular use. Anyone have any good human shampoos and conditioners I can use, being that they are usually much cheaper? Also, good human products for keeping manes and tails strong?

Suave is good and cheep. For strength I use this stuff that comes in a little green plastic jar called olive oil(it's olive oil in paist forum.) You can find it in the same section you would find hair products for black people. I also use this stuff called vitamin conditioner (mentioned earlier) I get it a my local big lots.

The best stuff EVER is called equa silk, it's exspencive though. They have it for diff coat color and it smells fantastic. Sona smelled great for days. They also have pet silk that I use on my dog.

My name is now my horses on a dor not my horse sonador
