Really, first time trying to braid on the tail! I have been obessively doing running plaits in her mane for weeks, and I've found its THE BEST way to learn to french braid a tail. Its exactly the same technique, running braids across the mane are just easier - perfect stepping stone. I've spent years telling myself and others "I can't french braid!" but if running braids (in the mane) are really easy to learn and once you know how to do that, tails are basically the same!
And yes her tail is strange in its colour(s) - although she's a ranga she has all these blonde hairs growing just behind her dock so when Its in a braid its this blondy, sandy colour :)
Any tips for those tricky 'tuffs' up top?
