Flaxseed?

I give my mare 2 tbsp. Of flax seed, and 1 tbsp. Of paprika a day. I'm going to gradually increase it this summer, to see if it makes a difference. The flax seed serves to make her coat shiny, and the paprika brings out her natural color (in this case, black). You can see her in my profile pic. Her coat stayed that way throughout summer, despite her being out from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Daily, with no sheet.

It definitely makes a difference, and she loves it! She licks her container clean, lol!
