Getting Mane Ready for Schooling Show

Sousa's first show is coming up, on September 26th. He is making his debut in the pleasure hunter ring. Its a schooling show, so mane braiding isn't necessary. However, other than having a beautifully cleaned and brushed mane, does anyone recommend it being pulled a certain way? Does very short and tidy look better than a bit longer for a schooling show? Bridle path will be shaved.

I prefer a short pulled mane. I think long manes are gross, but that's just my opinion. But if it's a schooling show and you don't want to pull it..then keeping it longer is ok.

I agree. I prefer manes to be pulled shorter.
