    I was told that I was sappost to do it every week when I had ginger...it was the only time she would stand still.

    If she gives you a hard time going in from the side, try going in from the rear. That's if you feel comfortable/safe standing behind your horse. All my girls will allow that but Vida and her daughter both will pin thier ears if I try it from the side.

    Got them all nice and clean today! :P

    She was veryyyy good about it she kicked out once but after that she did good!! All nice and clean

    Smelled soo bad at first NO I didnt smell my fingers lmao I just could smell it >.<! So I soaked them with soap lmao


    So how often are you suppose to clean them?

    That's good! Glad she behaved most of the time when you cleaned them.
    IMaybe once a month or so? Sometimes less often, it depends how much it's needed. ;)

    I do it pretty often, maybe once a week on everyone but Fras. I figure my husband can clean hers she is always really gunky
    If they are scratching their tales and you just wormed them they probably need a cleaning. I like to get it before it gets nasty.

    Wore plastic gloves and wet ones and my mare would actually pick up her leg and put her head down for it , she loved it so much lol
