Grooming for my Photoshoot

K, my boyfriend & I have a photoshoot coming up pretty soon with one of my horses. He's my jumper, and we want to do some shots of just us by the lake with him, but I also want to get some shots of him U/S.
I looooove the way he looks braided (like a baby warmblood!) but I don't want to braid his tail because I don't want him to look like a little hunter (he'll be wearing his martingale and big sheepskin jumping boots so it'll be pretty evident he's a jumper).
I know a lot of riders at higher levels braid manes and not tails, but usually if I'm just showing in the jumpers I leave him unbraided (mane nicely pulled) or if I take him to do dressage I braid him mane & tail.
What do you think? Both, just mane, or neither?

I agree whole heartedly...mane only. Just make sure he is nicely clipped, and all polished up
