The hair never ends!!!

My horse is a fuzzball! You could make sweater out of all the hair I brush out of him every day. It got warm really fast so his hair couldn't catch up, and I feel bad that he has to have so much hair on when it's this hot out. I gave him a bath to try and loosen the hair, but do you have any other ideas? I of course use a shedding blade, and those fiberglass brushes to get as much out as I can, but he still has too much hair! Ugh.

I love the Oster curry combs, and they seem to get the hair out pretty well. Make sure that this is seasonal shedding and not some sort of health problem.

If it's time to bring out the big guns, FURminator brushes work really well for this. The brand makes brushes for cats, dogs, and horses. I can't find any pictures of how they do on horses, but here's a picture with dogs and cats so you can see what I mean by how powerful this brush is:

Oh, I had no idea you could buy FURminator's for horses. I'm gonna see if I can find one. I have one for my Chihuahuas, and they work wonders during shedding season!

Oh. I have the yellow big furminator for my 2 golden retrievers. Guess I know 4 horses that are getting the treatment too! I never thought about furminating them! LOL

I prefer good old fashioned shedding blades, lol... My two are shedding horribly too, with it being so hot lately... I'm brushing about 5 gallons of hair from my two horses daily, it seems.
