    Janna, a hose pipe is the same thing as a water hose!

    You could pull your horses mane to thin and shorten it.

    You could just do your best with the braids for a couple of days : you won't need any longer because it's Scotland and things will go back to normal summer conditions of 14 degrees and rain very soon
