His tail touched the ground today.

My gelding has always had a long mane and tail. Winter before last I cut a good foot off his tail due to it dragging in mud and freezing. I hated every second after doing it. Today his tail was in the grass! Woohoo! Never again will I cut it.
I did braid the hair and leather wrap it when I cut it. It's been on my rear view in my truck since.
No more hair cuts.

Lol! I did the same to my mini recently, though it was about half that much. My mom is not overly happy about it... whoops. Imo it looks better, sort of.

**I must not forget to thank the difficult horses, who made my life miserable, but who were better teachers than the well-behaved school horses who raised no problems.**

I want the long ground dragging tail. Until it got narly and in my typical impulse wisdom, cut it off. To see his tail in the grass today made me smile a little.
