Hi, I have a question about my horse's fur. It is a bit dry and not quite shiny or smooth. I know that it is just turning into spring and horses about everywhere are shedding their winter coats, but I am just wondering if this is normal for this time of year?
Even if it is normal, do any of you know what healthy foods, supplements, etc. I could feed my horse to help her coat?
If you have the money to pay for a ready made supplement, I just started my horse on SmartPak's Omega Horseshine and it's already starting to bring the glow back into her coat!
Yeah linseed was the other thing the SmartPak people told me to try if the Horseshine didn't work or if I wanted a cheaper idea of something that may work
Thank you all for so much feedback! I'll check out everything you guys listed. Just for info, how would you apply the veggie oil or any oil to your horse?
clair, that sounds really good and in my price range, I may see about for my mare who's coats is a little dull. and hooves that chip. thanks!
