Hosing Legs Question

Today is incredibly rainy, and I know when I go to pull Oliver out of the field a few hours from now it will be super wet. I HATE showing up for a session with my coach with a horse who is only 1/2 clean. I wouldn't mind hosing off his legs this morning before we start. What's the best way to go about doing this? Warm water and just go at it until he's a clean boy?

I would fill a bucket up with warm water and wash him down with a sponge, then dry it with a towel.

Get a hose and just spray his legs off. You will get about 90% of the mud off which for a lesson should be fine.
