Hot Enough??

About how hot should it be outside to give a horse a bath?

Is it warm enough for you to take a cold hosing outside?

if yes-then your horse can get one.

That's my rule of thumb but be aware that horses are a lot more use being outside in various temperatures than you are. Use this rule at your discretion. I personally like it

I agree, too. 'Simple' answers are often the best. I always think back to when we were new to horses and I had this exchange with our old rancher/breeder friend....

Me: Our mares seem to get grumpy when they're hungry.

Simple Answer: So do I.

What else can I say?

On the sixth day, God created the Quarter Horse.
On the seventh day, he Painted the good ones.

I agree. ;) That's what I use, too.

It makes a lot of sense. I love having waterfights the same day we're bathing horses.
