How do I correctly apply vet wrap on horses stockings?

Whenever I show my mare, I usually like to warm her up in the round pen for 15 minutes just before we load in the trailer so I can get some of the "freshness" out of her. But she has four white stockings.... and they get dirty again. So I have decided to cover them with Vetwrap, that way they will hopefully stay clean. :) My question is.... how do I correctly apply the wrap? Does it go on the same as polo wraps? I have never done this before and do not want to put it on incorrectly or too tight. So if any one knows how and could explain it to me, I would really appreciate it :) thanks!

Vet wrap is designed to get tight and cling to itself. You would be much better off using polos.

Agree with alexS go with polos instead in the long run they will also be cheaper as they are reusable and vet wrap is not.

Now that I think about it, I do believe that would be better. Thanks for the opinions!
