I got new clippers

I've been an Oster user for years and years, mostly because that's what Mom always bought. I just bought the Andis AGR+ clippers, and I absolutely love them.

I got them because next year we're showing steers again, and for those of you who don't know, that involves A LOT of clipping. Everyone around here that's into showing cattle prefers Andis because they last longer and they run quieter. I just found out the quieter part is definitely true.

They are definitely pretty quiet.

Mine, after a couple of months started running the blades super hot though, so take mind of that. I'm forever spending probably more time cooling them down, then actually getting to work on clipping. I'm not sure if it's the clippers themselves that heat the blades so quickly, or the Andis blades just don't handle heat well. Otherwise, they're great clippers. Have fun with them.
