Talking I hope its not just mine... ;)

My horse LOVES to roll in the mud... especially after I just groomed him! He KILLS me! The worst part is: he is the ONLY one of my horses that does it! Lol Honestly, I think he does it just to get on my nerves. I can't ever just run down to the pasture and jump on bareback unless I want to get muddy.

My boy is a prissy princess! He likes to stay clean lol I've never seen him dirty. He'll only lay down in clean straw or grass. I'm lucky!!!!

Lins - I can one up you, unless mine is sick - recent experience. He refuses to roll in anything other then 'Freshly laid' saw dust. Nothing old.

Ocassionally, he'll have a roll in the sand arena. But, he always looks dissapointed in me if I put him out without a rug on. Such a girl.

Casey rolls in the mud, but her white marks NEVER GET STAINED!! They might get mud on them but that comes right off. In three years, she has probably had one or two stains. Her markings stay like BRIGHT, neon if there is such thing, white...

Haha I wish mine liked being clean. A few years ago I was getting my gelding ready for a photo shoot. I washed him, dried him, and if I wasnt holding him I had him tied. Two hours later during the pictures I had him loose in a beautiful field and before I could run up and stop him Down he went and rolled in a mole hole in both directions. His mane was messed up and had weed seeds and dirt all over him and then he stood up and bucked and kicked and galloped off a few yards only to roll again haha
The photographer LOVED it

My gelding rolled in a manure pile when he was first turned out into his pasture haha. So I think that beats mud ;). My moms mini also makes sure to pick the muddest spot in her pasture to roll. I swear they do it to spite us owners. They just love it when you watch them do it to lol.
