Haha, I'm pretty lucky with Ricci though, she's mostly white, but she's really a clean horse, very rarely rolls. But this time was extra irritating, because it was mud, so she got wet and I had to wait for her to dry before I could blanket her again, lol.

Just get a fleece cooler, or blanket, and when she's wet, put that on her; it wicks away moisture really nicely, and you just leave it on while they dry... I keep trying to find a different one for my girl, but it seems like you can never find anything smaller than 78 in most stores...acck!

Oh she has a cooler, but I still had to wait for it to do it's job before I could put her normal blanket on and throw her out.

I know what you mean about sizes though, I'm pretty sure I'll be running into that problem with my younger girl, she won't get that big. Ricci, on the other hand, is an 81, and for some reason, there's always something in her size. =]

Only my gray arabian rolls in the muds.my tn walker/quarter horse mix goes to the pond and lays on one side in it. Even in the winter! Then she runs around until she gets really hot and comes to the barn.i can just see the steam coming off of her.
