I must be lucky

Both of my American Saddlebred Geldings are seriously the most Perfect horses when being groomed, bathed, clipped, farrier triming. They only have issues with there yearly shots by the vets.

I have trained my 9 year old who will be 10 on july 3rd! I have trained him since he was two on learning the clippers with not hurt him, they will help him not feel so darn itchy all the time.
When he hears the clippers he gets all excited and just stands still and falls asleep. I think it's because he knows he gets a scrubby bubbly bath after which he love's since he gets tons of attention and gets to be walked around by me for about an 1 hr 1/2 in the sun while he eats grass

You're not lucky - You just have high expectation of your horses, as you should, and too many people don't.

It should be standard that horses stand for grooming, saddling, bathing, trimming etc.

If they don't, you should be actively working on improving it.
