Ricci didn't have that great of a mane to begin with. My other horse, Gracie, has a long, thick, luxurious black mane, and I would DIE before I took any kind of sharp object within ten feet of it. =] And she's not even 2 yet, but it just keeps growing!

Toms looks just like Gracies.. well except his pitiful fore lock, I would kill to make his look like hers...

I got super lucky with Gracie's. I think it's to make up for Ricci's complete lack of forelock. =]

I like the roached look myself. Especially for paints (a lot of cool markings can go unforeseen under the mane)....
I do not however like forelocks being cut...that is JMO, but I think it looks awful, and the forelock does seem to take much longer to grow back then manes,
    Again just my opinion.

Though your horse seems so naked without manes, it looks very neat!
But I would leave the forelock for sure

Very cute! You're horse looks good with its mane roached. I'm a big fan of roaching personally, and do it to my own horse. Unfortunately at the current time it is super long and is almost to the point of falling over so he has like 4 inches of mane sticking up :) Guess its time to repeat again!

And that's certainly a lot of mane on the young one!
