I so wish I could bathe them

It is just to cold to give 'em a real bath. I don't have an outdoor water heater or heated stall with blow drying equipment. Poor me. I don't think it really bothers them, so - again, poor me.
Captain Evil likes this.

There is just as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it.

It's good that you can't bathe them, otherwise you'd remove the waxy dander that protects the skin from the elements.

I know what you mean. Is it as cold in the Land of Enchantment as it is here in Maine?

Ahab looks fluffy, but has smegma down his back legs, and if you lift his heavy mane: dandruff that I can't get out. It's hard to brush too, because of static electricity. I have to spray my brushes with Show Sheen, and that is only if I've remembered to bring it, otherwise, it will all be frozen. There must be a good dry shampoo out there somewhere. Poor us!
