I use two jelly scrubbers at once, working as a form of massage down the hind end of my horse, past the hocks, and onto the pastern. Instead of currying only, I add enough pressure to move the skin and hair in a side to side, or even up and down movement. It loosens up the muscle and fascia tissue and brings blood to the area. My guy seems to move more loosely in the warm up. It is like a form of massage. Good especially in cooler months.
