    I had a problem with supplement black as knight but great success with color check - for what it is worth.

    I feel like I'm always plugging this product but use Black as Knight! They make a "show safe" version which does not contain paprika that you can use w/out worrying about drug tests.

    It's the same thing someone else said - the old hair has to fall out and the new hair grows in darker and with the new qualities but if you start early it should be perfect! The new hairs actually are more protected from the sun when on this supplement and don't sun bleach out. I've seen it!

    Totally 100% recommend that product! I don't think it's fair to a horse to keep it stalled *just* to keep it's coat from bleaching out.

    I think there are also blankets / fly sheets you can get with some sun protection.

    Thanks! I will totally look into black as knight! I've heard great things about the products, and I'm glad to know that they have a "show safe" version, because the arab shows are pretty strict about being "natural".
