    Yes. REally hard to do as tight as on that white horse, but does look good.
    That horse has a thick neck, tho.

    Sadly I have seen an arabian with a cut mane not even pulled and I was heartbroken and did not look good at all on the horse. I always prefer a long mane on horses but for arabians especially. It is a character trait of the breed. In my book it would be like pulling a fresian mane. I would suggest not doing it.

    I like a nice pulled mane myself. I think it looks much neater.

    If you can pull off a nice tight running braid like Eliz posted then go for it. If it is a loose running braid then I think you are better off with button braids.
