Leaving a sheet on at a show?

I'm taking my mare to a week long show in a few weeks where she will be stalled all week, Last year when I took her I had to bath her everyday because she got absolutely filthy(beyond grooming) and I had to strip the stall down to the mats twice a day. This year I have a Lycra mane tamer and a sheet that fit her. However the sheet is a waterproof turnout sheet and this summer the highest temp was 110*F or close to that(In Michigan). Would I be able to leave it on her in the stall to keep her clean? Obviously taking it off when I groom her and exercise her and not put it back on until she is completely cooled down.

I don't see a problem with it. As long as you keep it cool enough in the stall for her.
When I took my mare to state we kept a fly sheet and slinky on her and she was stalled 24/7 for a week (except for excersice and when I could take her out to hand graze. It was about 110 to 115 the whole week

We also kept a fan in front of her stall for her. She was fine, she loooved her fan. We have pics of her leaning her nose against the fan witht he wind blowing in her face. Haha... I would highly reccomend a fan either way.

But yeah it should be fine.

*Insert something witty*

It would be very smart so your not working so hard! If the temp does go over 100 then take the sheet off so she dosen't overheat.

I have been bumped and bruised, but my horse is still my best friend!
