Making a white Horse white??

    Chalk! I have a grey who's constantly mucky, and when all else fails on stable stains/grass stains/legs I use chalk! Obviously it can't be used on the whole body(thats what baths are for!?), but it's really useful if your at a show and need a quick touch up! :)

    Btw, sorry if I posted this twice, I didn't think it worked the first time as my computer crashed, but I think it might have done! Sorry guys!

    Mix wonder blue whitening shampoo and baby powder so it is a paste. Scrub it in and rinse well!!! For touch stains put the mixture in a dish washing scrubber thingy and rinse well. Hope this helps :)

    See the horse I am riding in my avatar? His greatest desire in life was to be a chestnut, and with the red clay we have here in NC...he darn near was, most of the time.

    Elbow grease with cheap Suave shampoo and creme rinse most of the time. Come show time, I would never use expensive quick silver shampoo. I would go to Wal Mart and buy generic bluing shampoo for senior citizens. Same as Quick silver but MUCH cheaper.

    Allison, we just got a new white horse into the barn plus my grey pony and my friends flea bitten. Going to go look for that blue shampoo tomorrow!! Thank you :)
