Default Mane Tamer Substitute
I don't have a mane tamer or a sleazy, and neither is really in the budget at the moment, any tips or tricks on how to protect my horses' braids (or at least keep them from being totally destroyed) the night before the show?

just so you know, there are sleazy type hoods for $10 or $15 on horseloverz.com

try looking around on ebay, craigslist and other websites for an affordable sleazy.

If you buy a sleazy hood once, it will probably save you money on lots of hairspray or quick braid, braiding bands, and time redoing braids.
