Rinse it out . Don't leave product in his tail. Hair growth comes from internal.
If his tail bone is raw but some antibiotic cream and hydrocortisone cream on it. Do not wrap it.

MTG should never be left in.

ACV dip works best.

Ten days later we went off to a show and the pony's red coat gleamed. She was on pasture and a small oat ration.

Never put fly repellant on raw skin. This tail needs to be well rinsed to remove product. When dry slather Vaseline on the raw area to protect it from flies. Also apply it to the underside of his tail. This will stop him from rubbing the top side as he tries to scratch under there.

If you're trying to grow hair, Super Gro works great. You can find it in the black hair care section of the dollar store.
