Question Neck sweat shopping

Does anyone on here use a neck sweat? I'm shopping for one, but I'm not sure which one I should get and was hoping some of you had some thoughts on it. Also, if you've used a neck sweat, did you use the neck sweat lotion with it or just the neck sweat?

Some background:
I've used neck sweats many many times, with and without lotion, when I worked at a show barn in high school. I never asked about the rhyme or reason behind which horses got what combination. I never bought them nor did I ever look at the brand. Not to mention that was a LOOOONG time ago, lol. I can't remember if we used the lotion. I do know we use the sweats before and/or during working the horses. Half of them got the full neck and half got the throat latch. I know it'll have to be done often.

I do most of my shopping on the Schneider's website and they have many different brands and I'm wondering which ones are the "good" brands. I want the full neck sweat first and foremost. If I can find a good deal, I'll get the full neck and the throat latch. I did see some that went up onto the head over the ears. I've never used those, though.

I don't like assuming that the most expensive is the best, so I'm trying to find more information about them.

Have you ever really thought about how a neck sweat works, or doesn't. The horse may sweat in that particular area but water from other areas of the horse moves to that area to keep the cells hydrated. Think of a horse sweating under a saddle. If water didn't move into the area the tissue would soon start dying off for lack of hydration.
