Need an answer ASAP!

I am purchasing a show halter for my mare. Pictures can be viewed at: Before and After....What do you think?

She is a buckskin mare. Light gold color with a black mane and tail. Will a light oil, medium oil, or dark oil halter work best? Or does it not matter? What about the amount of silver? What about width? I am very limited on funds and looking at purchasing something within the next 24 hours to get it by next weekend.

Well, something medium would probably look best. Not too strikingly dark, but still would show up better than lighter colors.

And I couldn't begin to tell you about silver amount and width - assuming you're doing western halter classes, I have no clue on that! Although I personally have always though a little silver goes a long way. You don't want to look TOO shiny.

IMO I would go with limited silver, she's flashy enough without adding more 'bling'. And as far as leather colour, med. to dark but I don't think light with her already light colouring. And width, I'm thinking that the wider the more expensive, so I would go with something mid grade, but def. not too thin. Good luck and post a pic of her showing it off.
