new pony!! how to groom? help

I have just got a new pony who unfortunately is very sensitvie when I try to groom him. If I go near his legs with a brush he puts his ears back and snorts- im not sure whether its to do with his background or not!! Help me as I love this pony to bits and don't want our realationship to change. She is reasonably small- 13 hands. HELP

Work slowly. Get him used to the brush around his legs and don't go so hard for the first time. Also I think you should make sure your name doesnt automatically log you in because you brother....
