    Also, I was talking to the vet tech at the place I work and she said there were never any adverse side effects to flax, and tha flax was a large industry and many horse owners fed flax. It made me realize that if there was a link between wetting versus non wetting of the flax seed, this indication would be made on the feeding directions.
    My horse has definitely improve from feeding flax -- you can just tell he feels better because he isn't so **** itchy anymore -- I'm not going to stop feeding it anytime soon
