i agree with this. i have a dark bay horse and am grooming a grey horse. i went to the barn the other night wearing all black clothes and came out wearing most of the grey horse. yuck.
I'm in real trouble here. The mornings are still chilly, and the afternoons are already hot. Dancer is a grulla - but right now she looks more like a buckskin since her winter coat is much lighter in color than her summer coat.
Rain is a very dark bay right now, I'm anxious to see what her summer color will turn out to be - she'll turn 1 in June.
Misty is a perlino and America is a really light Palomino (isabello?). Nutmeg is a bright chestnut - even her winter coat shines like a copper penny) and Scooter and Junior are bay paints.
So... what the heck color sweater do I wear? I generally groom in the mornings, right after feeding time.
As for lip gloss, I had to give that up altogether. Rain thinks it tastes good. Ugh! Horsey breath!
I was working the other night and grooming a Belgian who was shedding. It was also very windy. Turned around to say something to another person and got the entire inside of my mouth covered in hair...

One of my boarders has a husband with an extreme allergy to horses. She wears a cheap rain coat and wind pants when she grooms during shedding season. Reduces the chance she gets horse hair in her vehicle.
Wear Green! Or Red! I find it works pretty well
Well, that is if you want to add yellow, red, black, brown (what ever color you horse(s) is) to the garment to make it more interesting! haha
