That's nothing compared to my friends little 'grey' gelding... After a bad week of rain he rolled in the mud pit. The only art of him that was not caked BLACK with mud was his face. Im sure he would have burried his head in it too if he could have. I wish I could uoload the photo. Its kinda disgusting really.

Oh yes, don't you just love those rainy days? It rained all morning and all last night. Needless to say, this is when my pretty ponies all decided to roll! Haha

Ugh...that's one thing I really hate about rainy weather, besides for the fact that the ground is usually too soggy to ride on....

Good job on the clean up. She looks much better.

Once I went out to get her after it had rained and as soon as she saw me she walked over to the muddiest spot in her pasture and rolled. LOL. What a turd. And that's what she looked like. A big brown turd. Lol. I wish I had pictures. Needless to say she didn't get away with it. I washed her off and hopped on bareback. Teach her a lesson. Lol

Much better!

I can so relate. I went to the barn 2 days ago after a pown pour. I walked right by my horse' paddock and to his stall. He wasn't there. The trainer says "Hey, how are you?" I replied "I'm ok... but where is my horse? She says, he's in the paddock. I told her "No, I just looked there, the Chestnut, Daisy is there, but Cooper is not!" I quickly walk over starting to freak out.. umm yea.. he's just standing there, covered in mud. He's chestnut and white paint, completely DARK brown. There went riding for the day, instead he got a looong good bath. Now I wish I would have taken pictures
