Smile Opinions on Quic silver?

I'm looking for the best white horse shampoo possible, I really don't care anymore about how much it will cost because I've already bought so many not working shampoo's hahah!

So I came across this shampoo called Quic silver and people have told me about it here in the forum, that is bleaches the hair or something. I live in Iceland were this shampoo is not sold and there is not a lot of shampoo options over here, so I'm going to buy online!

Who of you have tried it and how do you like it? :)

The thing is, my mare is a Albino, (Cremello in America) and she is pure white color, and I hate it when she's dirty, and specially the yellow spots! :)

If they don't have horses in haven, I'm not going.

QuicSilver isn't a bleach, it's called a blueing agent. It will get a light colored horse amazingly clean, but you can't leave it on their body or in their mane/tail too long or it'll turn them lavender.

I use QuicSilver on my gray Arab, and he always looks gorgeously clean after he dries.

Quic Silver is the only shampoo I use on my greys! I LOVE IT. Literally makes my horses sparkle.

Quic silver is pretty much magic.

Never heard of it bleaching a horse though. But as stated about if left on too long you will have a purple horse But you really do have to leave it on awhile before that starts to happen.

The trick to not dyeing the horse purple is to make sure you scrub the shampoo until it's no longer purple. Then you don't have to worry as much about how long it sits on the horse.

I love that stuff and it's my go to for the whitest white horse. That shampoo and some elbow grease will clean out the worst stains on any grey horse.

I love Quic Silver shampoo and then for those tough spots and to help keep white tails white, I use this product, WOW. https://healingtreeinc.com/equine-products/wow/ It works when everything else has failed.

Quic Silver works exactly the same as any other shampoo with Mrs. Smith's bluing added to it, and same thing, don't let it sit on the horse too long, they will have a blue tinge to them.

I used quic silver after this mane n tail spray shampoo ( http://www.wintercreekstore.com/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=33&idproduct=168 ) and I had more than one person comment on my horse and ask me how I got him so white. It was so fast and easy to do, I'd recommend both products to anyone, but I think I liked the mane n tail more.

I used to use quicsilver on my pinto when we were showing, it worked great. Last time I showed him I just used regular people shampoo and washed him like 3 times before hand, and still got all the "oh wow he's so white" comments.

LOVE quic silver. Worked wonders on my paint mare's tail. She'd pee and poop on it and it'd turn yellow. Quicksilver worked great at getting it white and keeping it white.
It will turn your hands blue too, especially around the cuticles. :)
I have heard about the Mr. Stewarts bluing added to shampoo, sounds like a great idea but I haven't tried it as I no longer have white horses :)
