My bad! I guess I wasn't picky where it went, so long as it wasn't here...

I think my two missed the memo. They're shedding, but VERY slowly even though it was 82 yesterday! I guess they knew it would be 'cold' today xD

most of mine are slicked off now. a few still shedding out some, but those grow heavy coats in winter. I may give baths this weekend , in the 80's . Summer will be here a little to soon.. I really dislike the triple digit summer heat anymore. 105 and up makes a person want to melt. at least we usually dont have high humidity. dont like it humid, dont like the snow .dont like the heat dont like a ton of rain . where oh where to go ... lol..

Is attempting to comb out the loose hair a rite of passage? A stupid ritual we do every Spring. I've eaten my share so for the past 5 or so years I let nature take care of it.

My mare rolls a lot so she gets a good part of hers off, but I love grooming to much. Plus seeing that summer coat finally peeking through all of that fluff is such a good sight :)

You have to learn how to fall before you can learn how to ride~

I dont have pictures but wanted to add-- when i brushed our leopard this afternoon he clogged the metal curry-- i had no idea that was possible!

i put the curry to the horse and from the elbow down couldnt tell where the arm ended or the horse began.
