Anyone know the best way to do a runnin plait ?

Do you know how to french braid ?
If you do just braid the mane all the way down starting at the top
That's the way I do it :)

Do a search for running braid and read the post "Amazing braid..." It has a lot of neat tips and pictures of all sorts of braids.

Ok, take about a three inch section at the top of the mane right after the bridle pat, braid it left strand, right strand and then add some from the mane to the middle section. Repeat the process until your done, keeping even pressure. DO NOT LET THE HORSE LOWER ITS HEAD! This will losen the braid and make it slopy! Hope this helps!
