Purple stain?!

I used Mane N Tail whitener on my horse's white foot today and I rubbed it in, left it in 2 minutes, rinsed like it said, but on the back of his foot, right above his heel there's a purple stain that I tried rubbing out with water but it will not come out! What can I do? Will it wear off?

It will eventually go away.

When you use whitener shampoo's, you need to make sure to lather it up ALL over. Otherwise it'll stain. LoL

I'm sure it will wear off eventually. It's kinda weird that it did it in the first place though. I think I'd send an email off to the company. Might get you a free bottle

It's not weird at all. Every whitener is going to have either blue or purple in it, and if left on too long, or not extremely lathered up, it will stain either blue or purple.

Wasn't she the one who purposefully left the shampoo in her horse's tail for two days? I would think that the OP's situation is a little bit different...

I didn't mean it like it was the same thing, it was conversational and empathetic.
Did it come out for you OP?
