No, I have an indoor tackroom, & I always shake spray bottles, a habit. I notice it even does this when I dilute the stuff with water if I am running low & don't have enough to finish the job. Now it's got me wondering if they are selling substandard stuff to Canada!

Next time you use this stuff, drip at bit on your horse's fur & let me know if leaves a residue, ok? I would like to know if I am getting a substandard product here, this stuff isn't cheap, @ $16 for a small bottle.

Yes it leaves a residue on my mare's neck. I just scrub it off when done braiding. She has sensitive skin and doesn't react well to the residue.

Now I'm curious. It's been awhile since I've used it, and last show where I banded I didn't use it. I'll go use it and see and then let you know. I'll go out to the barn again probably tomorrow after class.

A couple years ago, I was asked to braid several horses for a dressage show, and I used it on all four horses, and it seems I would have really noticed it. I'll check and see.

Ok, it's not just my products I buy here. I having been using Quic Braid since it came on the market in the 90's & I was given a free bottle at promotional trade show and it's always left that residue. It does brush off though.
