Smile Quick Show Ring Touch Ups

Hi! I was wondering some tips for great, quick, last minute type grooming touch ups tips. Some tips that I could use a few classes be for I enter the ring- I know some good ones like petroleom jelly on the black shadows of your horses face, and cornstarch the socks. Any others? I show english AND western.

A final run over with finishing/touch up clippers are always good. If you miss a hair/whisker or whatever it's always nice to be able to touch it up right before you go into the ring. Also get some Showsheen brand finishing spray, it look GREAT. I always spray it on my POA's rump before we show; brings out his big spotted rump :)

Baby powder is a great last minute touch up for white socks.
Baby oil can also highlight their eyes and mouth.
One of those cleaning mits you get from the super market are great to just run over the coat before going in the ring. They pick up a heap of dust and dirt (lol it is ,afterall, what they're designed for)
And hairspray keeps hoof black on longer
Finishing spray also is great to use just before going in the ring.

A soft towel and polish up the coat, and in between classes as well. Your toweling down the horse really brings up the shine.

Another horse thing that smells like candy.

Silverado Face Glo

Comes in clear, chestnut, and black that i'm aware of. Between that and Pepi my horse tends to smell like a candy store.
