RHINO Hi Necked Blankets

I have three rhino hi-necked turnout blankets. Has anyone had any problems with mane rubbing because of the high neck? I bought them because the saleperson said they were great at preventing wither and shoulder rubs. Now I am noticeing a section of her mane is steadily disappearing. Anyone have any issues with the high neck? I just bought her a faceless turtleneck/shoulder guard, but I'm frustrated about spending so much on these blankets and having to deal with this!

How high-necked is it?

The blanket I have for my mare comes a few inches past her withers, and I love it. All her other blankets required a shoulder guard because they would rub her withers. There isn't anything wrong with a regular blanket and shoulder guard though, if everything seems to be annoying. =]

My QH has this Rhino:

It doesn't rub his mane out, but it will cause a part in his mane over the course of the winter. It looks rubbed from far away, but it's not... just going 2 different directions. It goes back to normal in the spring when he's out of his medium weight.

It's this blanket. I love them, have it in green, blue and tan plaid. But I like her mane more. I'll just buy the jammies, haha. One more thing to buy!
