Roach, Trim, Pull, or Leave Alone?

    Long manes look good on horses with topline. When horses have thin necks a long mane will enhance this, and even make the horse look like it has a you neck. IMO short or hogged would look better. But they are your horses it's really what you prefer. =)

    I rather prefer a nicely kept mane and tail...but that's just my preference. And by nicely kept I like the mane usually short (unless it's an arab, or other traditionally 'long maned' breed), and the tail, I periodically trim to keep it from getting too ratty on the ends.
