    Shampoos

What shampoos does everyone use on their horses?

This is what I was planning on using.

This one would be mainly for cleaning and detangling:

Then I'd follow up with this for color enhancement:

Anyone have any experience with these shampoos? I'm familiar with the Eqyss products for dogs and I like them. But I've never used any of the Quic products.

My horse is a bay so should I get Quicblack for mane, tail and legs?

She also has a blaze so should I get Quicsilver for that also?

I don't want to buy all three Quic shampoos if they're no good.

I don't show so I just want to get them clean. I use a citronilla shampoo when the bugs are bad otherwise I use Mane and Tail shampoo and conditioner. I may bet adventurous this summer and try some of the others I like Cowboy Magic products.

Just bought the quic black shampoo for my bay... No problems with it, except my hands turned blue! Lol
It's not a miracle worker (yet) but it doesn't do a bad job.

I LOVE the Quic shampoos. I use Quic silver on my paint pony and it gets him really clean. I also have bought Shapely's Equitione shampoo. I have not gotten to use it yet, but it looks like it will work.

You probably only need to get one shampoo. I would get one made for your horse's main color(bay, did you say?). If you really want to make any white areas whiter, use baking soda or highlite them with grooming chalk.

I've heard that the Quic shampoos don't do a good job of cleaning. That's why I wanted to use the Eqyss shampoo first.

You don't really need to use two shampoos.
I love the Quic products! I have a black bay and I use Quic Black and it works really well.
