Should I Clip?

So, I am pretty sure I am going to have someone do a small clip on Casey. But, I was just hoping I could get a second opinion on it. She is a 12 year old Arab X Paint. She gets a long winter coat, this year about 1.5 inch. She already has it, but we have only have had one rainstorm, supposed to have one tonight, but don't know if that matters. Is it to late in winter do one? Like I just said, she has her winter coat, but only one rainstorm so far. I work her about 4-5 days a week, about 2 hrs about 3 times a week, less a couple times a week. About a little less than half of her work is moderate hills.
I was thinking about something like this:

I am getting tired of having to spends a long time on cooling down. Do you think I should have her get a clip? And what type? A bib clip (under neck & belly) or trace clip (shoulder, neck, belly, etc). She lives out 24/7 , but I blanket her when it rains or gets cold.
Thanks!

Looks like a good & effective trace clip. Sure does cut down on cool out time.

I think it all depends on what kind of work you do with your horse during the winter. Either way, if it's taking a long time to dry and there's a possibility of the horse catching a chill, then i'd clip and blanket.

I hope you have someone whom is darn good at doing trace clips... they are hard to get right and if they get messed up, you're stuck with a silly pony haircut for months! Hahaha!
