Show off those Pulled Manes!

Aspen had her first bath today (possibly her first ever bath!) and I decided since she had her mane and tail clean and knotfree that it was time I took the plunge and pulled her mane. Because her mane was too long I razored it back before pulling (it is a hand's width - 3.5 to 4 inches roughly). I do think she looks smart - I've been meaning to do it for quite a while but the last time I went to do it I couldn't bring myself to take that first step so today shoved myself into commitment of finishing her mane by cutting it in the middle first . I also thinned it out a bit with the razor - her mane is just so thick! It was my first ever time doing this, so room for improvement but I think I did ok?

Stitch sports his pulled mane nicely as well!

You can't see the pulled mane in this picture, but his mane is normally on this side, I have to train it over to the other side for showing purposes. But look at the pretty white spots it's not covering anymore!

Stitch is gorgeous. Love his markings (that said I am not a coloured fan at all - so for me to like him he sure is nice ). Totally unrelated but I love the colour of your saddle/bridle on him - it really brings out his shine and flaxen mane/tail. What a beautiful horse.

Thank you, Aspen! That means a lot. He sure is a nice boy.
Your filly is gorgeous as well! I can't wait to see her all grown up.

You're welcome and thanks - I can't wait for her to finish maturing and fill out (though she will be probably be atleast 6 by the time she finishes!!) to see how she turns out.
