Silicone Free

What mane and tail products or human products are silicone free and how do you tell? I see this everywhere when people are asking about the type and products they use and then others are saying that silicone actually dries the mane and tail out but how can you tell if a product has silicone in it? When I wash my horses I use head and shoulders. Let them dry and then use coconut oil as a leave in condition and then I braid everybody back up. One of my favorite products though is made by shapleys and its in a spray can. I believe its call Hi-Shine but I stopped using it over a year ago because I didnt know if it had silicone in it or not. But if anybody has a list or idea of products containing silicone I would greatly appreciate it!!!!

Oh gee wiz......well, nothing I have has silicone in it then cause it isnt listed on anything under ingredients. I just thought it was "added" in there and not listed.

I can usually tell from the "feel" most silicone sprays leave on my hands. It's kind of an oily feel, but leaves an "ewwww" feeling at the same time. It just feels "chemical". Just not pleasant at all.

I really don't know how to explain it really, feels are different for everybody, but that's as close as I can get. If you use it frequently, it makes your skin feel dry too.

But maybe I'm just sensitive to it, because a lot of people seem to like it or they wouldn't still be selling it.
