I'm not sure when spring is, I live in central Florida and it gets cold, hot , cold, hot, my horses shed for months and are itchy. I have to strip and groom like you do in spring for 2 months straight. Hair grows thick, then they shed out halfway then thicken again. I don't bathe them though until it hits the high 70's and stays that way for a week straight. Then it is ladies day at the spa, wash condition,white out for mane & tail, a good squeegy, brushing, show sheen to combat knots, bug spray(daily) and then the final touch, cutting them loose to find a dirt hole to undo everything I just did for the last 2 hours. Ahh I love spring.
