Stable or Turnout Blanket while stalled

I live in the PacNW so of course my horse uses waterproof turnout blankets in both light and medium weights. But I had also purchased a Rambo stable blanket which is the exact fill (200) as my Rhino med turnout. And it doesn't get cold enough here to double up blankets either.

Is there any reason to use a stable blanket while stalled at night and/or stalled 24/7 (medical reasons) instead of a turnout? Ie. Did I buy a stable blanket for no reason since I have the same fill turnout anyway?

My thought process was to swap the turnout for the stable at night and back again for turnout in the AM but that just keeps the turnout wet all night long (not drying due to horse's heat) and going back on my warm horse super cold (not wet inside, but def cold). So that didn't seem to work out to me, but she's stalled 24/7 right now for a while so is there a difference in which to use?
