Hey so my family and I are looking at horses for sale and I was wondering if there are any items to buy before the horse (I have all the tack). I was also wondering for a stall guard any brands you recommend and whether I should put my name or the horse's name on it. Thanks!

I have corona ointment which I believe does the same thing, right? Thanks for the help!

I used to say "I had all the tack"..yet I continue to buy more of it!
Now I just say "you can never have enough tack" :)

It's nice to build and have a horse first aid kit all setup and ready to use.
So there is no searching around when you find you do need it.
I keep mine hanging by the door with a rope halter and flashlight, all are ready to grab and go.

Are the horses going to he at your house or a barn? I always put my horses name on tack and stall stuff but my name on grooming stuff and mounting blocks and such.

My horse is going to be at a barn but it's a small one and almost everyone there knows me.

Are you sure that the tack you have will fit the horse you're going to purchase?

As for items, anything medicinal. Extra wraps, antibiotic ointments, washes, Epsom salts, etc.

Brushes, of course! haha

We haven't narrowed it down to the horse we are going to buy but my trainer knows where to get a saddle if I need a new one although I don't want to part with my wonderful stubben...

Oh stubbens, they're amazing, lucky luck you!
I wish I had one D:

If you really don't want to part with it, I'm pretty sure saddle fitters can recontruct the tree?
Am I wrong?

They can or I can just get a stubben with a wider tree. I got mine at a tack sale a girl had just bought it and had it in her car and as she was driving home she got a call that her barn was on fire luckily she got the horses out and some of her tack was ok but had to sell some stuff and at the sale we also had a fund raiser for her
