My filly's tail is just about long enough that shes going to start getting urine on it. I bought a braid-in tail bag but I'm thinking the urine is still going to get in and stain it. Any suggestions?
My trainer has a horse that is pure white and has a really long tail. She takes a long knee-sock, braids the tail, tucks it in. Maybe 2 socks? Sorry, not a whole lot of help here, thought I'd mention :/
I've never specifically seen a waterproof tail bag, but at the same time, I've never looked. I assume, though, that you could MAKE your tail bag waterproof. Waterproofing spray is generally $5-$10 and you can probably find it at Walmart. I found my bottle of it at a shoe store and I used it to waterproof my barn shoes. =)
